Deakin University Lancaster University Indonesia (DLI) proudly marked a significant milestone with the grand opening of its new campus in Bandung on February 2025. This celebratory event brought together distinguished guests, university leaders, government officials, and industry partners — highlighting the powerful collaboration between three nations: Australia, the United Kingdom, and Indonesia.
The grand opening was attended by a number of esteemed guests, including UK Ambassador to Indonesia Dominic Jermey; Gita Kamath, representing the Australian Embassy; Faiz Rahman, representing the West Java Provincial Government, and Iskandar Zulkarnain, representing the Mayor of Bandung; along with representatives from both Deakin University Australia and Lancaster University UK.
As DLI opens its doors to students, it sets the stage for a transformative educational experience—connecting local talent with global networks and equipping them with the skills and mindset needed to thrive in an increasingly interconnected world. The opening ceremony marks not only the launch of a new campus, but also the beginning of our journey in bringing international education within reach.
