Deakin University Lancaster University Indonesia (DLI) was honoured to participate at the Indonesia-Australia Transnational Education (TNE) CONNECT 2026 Symposium: “Paving the way for sustainable and impactful TNE Partnership” on 25-26 May at the Westin Hotel Jakarta, organised by the Australian Embassy Jakarta.
Amongst the distinguished leaders at the TNE CONNECT symposium were H.E. Gita Kamath, Australian Chargé d’Affaires, Prof. Jennifer Westacott AC, Australian Business Champion to Indonesia and Chancellor of Western Sydney University, and Prof. Hermawan Kresno Dipojono, MSEE, PhD, Expert Staff to the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology.
Prof Greg Barton, Rector of DLI was one of the keynote speakers at the Plenary Session: “Transnational Education in Indonesia: State of Play and Opportunities” along with Prof. Jennifer Westacott AC and Prof. Hermawan Kresno Dipojono, MSEE, PhD, moderated by Sean Jenner, Trade & Investment Commissioner AUSTRADE.
As a TNE joint international branch campus of Deakin University, Australia and Lancaster University, UK, DLI has committed to contribute to strengthening the human capital development in Indonesia through delivering world-class learning experiences and the development of sustainable and impactful TNE.
