DLI Explores Academic and Research Collaboration Opportunities with PKUB, Ministry of Religious Affairs (MORA)

Deakin University and Lancaster University delegation led by Prof. Greg Barton met with the Head of the Community Empowerment and Development Center (PKUB) of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and team in Jakarta on Thursday, 9th of April 2025.

The meeting discussed various potential area of collaboration, included academic and research collaboration between Deakin University Lancaster University Indonesia and the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ Community Empowerment and Development Center (PKUB). Through the collaboration, both DLI and PKBU are looking forward to form positive synergy that could strengthen the harmony through impactful partnership and sustainable collaboration.

The meeting also discussed potential partnership development, including joint international conferences and dialogue forum that focusing on the interfaith harmony, in collaboration with academics, practitioners and other key stakeholders.

The discussion also covered the exploration of joint youth community development program development that could strengthen resilience towards the current and future diversity challenges.
